Day 7 – Blueberry Smoothie

How traditional could this get?  Lets just keep this simple and follow the pattern that seems to work well.  This needs to work – soon after I’ve finished I’m off for a swim…

  • 200ml Almond Milk
  • 125g Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Tbsp Oats
  • 1 Tbsp Chai Seeds

Add everything but the banana to the goblet overnight & chill in the fridge.

In the morning chop in the banana and blend until smooth.  Sprinkle with a little chai seed…

Reflections on Day 7

No surprises here, just the basics but it does the job.  An easy way to start the day.  The only criticism  have here is that this is the first time I’ve added the Chai seeds in advance.  I expected these to swell up and take on that gelatinous quality, but some of these stubbornly stuck to the goblet and required some significant scrubbing to clean off.  Overall a good start to the day but maybe add the chai with the banana…

The end of the experiment draws neigh but there are a few loose ends to tidy up…
