Earswick Donkey


So if you’ve followed my recipes for plum & slow gins & liqueurs, you’ll have been drinking this seasons for a few weeks now. You’ve probably given the odd bottle away as a present, maybe served up liqueurs after dinner, but what to do with the rest? Cocktails!

My Earswick Donkey is a festive take on a Moscow Mule, and would work equally well with Plum Gin

A nice little winter warmer for the festive celebrations.

Serves 6-8


  • 200ml Sloe Gin
  • 60ml Lime Juice
  • 300ml Ginger Beer
  • Cranberries to serve


  • Mix the slow gin & lime juice in a jug and top up with the ginger beer
  • Pour into suitable cocktail glasses and serve with a fresh cranberry
