Fruity Hot Sauce – Peaches and Scream!!!

Mango, Peach & Fatalii Chilli Sauce – the hottest, fruitiest sauce in my kitchen!

Fatalii peppers are just perfect for this sauce, bringing a really citrussy zing along with its scorching heat.  This is amazing stuff, and not for the faint hearted (or the weak hearted, for that matter).  Use anywhere where you need both heat and the tropical fruitiness that the peach and mango brings

Makes approx 1 litre (enough to power a small spacecraft for approximately 93 days)


  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Mangoes, peeled & chopped
  • 2 Peaches, peeled & chopped
  • 12 Fatalii Chillies (you could use Scotch Bonnet as an alternative) , whole, stalks removed
  • 100 ml White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Juice & Zest of 1 Lemon


  • Gently sweat the onions & garlic in the oil for a few minutes until soft, but not coloured
  • Add the mango, peach and chilli and bring up to the boil.  Simmer gently, covered for about 5 minutes
  • Add the vinegar and puree the contents of the pan with a hand blender until smooth
  • Stir in the honey, salt & lemon zest and juice and allow to cool slightly
  • Pour into sterilized jars and store in a cool dark place until ready for use
