Hot & Sticky Chicken

A great use for some left over cooked chicken with a great spicy kick.  A pleasant change from the usual Christmas fare!

Serves 2

Cook & Prep time – 35 minutes



  • 2 cooked Chicken breasts, chopped into chunks
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Runny Honey
  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Hot Chilli Sauce (to taste)
  • 2 tsbp Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 tbsp  Wholegrain Mustard
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


  • In a bowl, mix up all of the ingredients, excluding the chicken, to make a thick sauce.  Add a little hot water to loosen the sauce if necessary
  • Stir in the chicken and mix well, ensure all pieces are well coated.  Transfer to shallow bowl
  • Cook in a pre-heated oven, 180ºC for 20-30 minutes.  Stir occasionally.  The final chicken mixture should be sticky and coated in the thick sauce
  • Serve with a mixed leaf salad and mushroom cous-cous
